G'Day Solomon Islands Fun Run Prizes
The Australian High Commission is excited to announce some of the great prizes up for grabs at the upcoming ‘G’Day Solomon Islands Fun Run’.
Major prizes include a holiday for two for three nights to beautiful Sanbis resort including return flights with Solomon Airlines. There is also a return flight to Brisbane with Solomon Airlines to be won or one night at the Heritage Park Hotel for two, including breakfast. A package including dinner, one night’s accommodation and breakfast for two can also be won at ‘The Ofis’, soon to open in White River. Be the first to check it out!
You could also win brand new Solar Panels for your house, a Christmas leg ham and big Christmas Hamper from Meatlovers and free passes on the SunExpress boat to Mbike Island for a great day out including lunch, drinks, snorkelling and kayaking. More prizes will be announced as we get closer to the great day.
Australian High Commissioner Matt Anderson says he can’t wait for the event.
“We’ve been overwhelmed with the support from the local business community, who have embraced our healthy lifestyle messages. So let’s not let them down. Keep on training with your family and friends, eat well, and come along on 23 November. Remember, you’ve got to be in it to win these fantastic prizes!” Matt Anderson said.
The theme of the event is ‘Iumi Stap Helti’, promoting the importance of a healthy lifestyle with fresh food and physical activity.
The ‘G’day Solomon Islands Fun Run’ will be held on Saturday 23 November from 7.30am starting at the Honiara Art Gallery grounds.
The event offers free registration, a 3km walk and 5km run as well as entertainment and a free healthy breakfast provided by the Solomon Islands Women in Business Association.
