Australian Regional Development Scholarships now open
Australian Regional Development Scholarships (ARDS) provide successful Solomon Islanders with skills and knowledge to drive change and influence economic and social development in Solomon Islands.
The ARDS offers scholarships to study at regional institutions in Fiji, PNG, Vanuatu and Samoa.
There are two categories available for undergraduate and post graduate study:
- Open - for school leavers (completed forms to be submitted to Scholarships, Australian High Commission).
- Public - for public servants and those in the workforce (completed forms to be submitted to NTU, MEHRD).
Priority areas in 2013
Health (not including medicine), education, governance, climate change, economic growth, disability & gender, construction & mining, information technology, community development, legal services, business, accounting and financial management, agricultural sciences and veterinary services.

Application forms and scholarship information can be downloaded from the above links or can be collected at the Australian High Commission Office. All applications must be received by AusAID at the Australian High Commission in Honiara by 4pm on Friday 15 June 2012.
Please ensure all required documents are attached before submitting.
